This year International Emerging Artist Award (IEAA) will offer the winner of both categories- International Emerging Artist Award and Emerging Emirati Artist Award one year representative contract with International Emerging Artist Award which include: -An International exhibition road show. -An Invitation to attend the prize-presentation in Dubai. -An Exclusive media feature in New York Times Style Magazine (T.Emirates) -Full profile feature on the IEAA website. -A Participation as a jury member for the 2013-2014 award edition. IEAA will offer the 2nd and 3rd place from both categories -International Emerging Artist Award and Emerging Emirati Artist Award one (1) artwork display at the prize–presentation at FN Designs gallery in Dubai in March 2013. The artwork will also be displayed on the IEAA online gallery and the artists will be able to benefit from a mention in media coverage.
Following the outstanding number of artwork received during the 2011-2012 edition, IEAA decided to offer an official recognition to the participants that made it to the top 10 by displaying one artwork and the artist’s personal statement on the IEAA online gallery. This helps provide visibility to these artists as well as it allows them to use this mention as an official reference in their curriculum.
By entering IEAA, the participants are officially creating an artist profile with the organization which means all artwork uploaded is being noticed by the panel of art professionals. For those that have not received any of the above recognition, IEAA can still offer opportunities outside the competition to artists that we believe have a strong potential. Such opportunities include: group exhibitions, special features and other events in collaboration with IEAA’s partners or affiliates. The terms of such collaborations will vary from the award’s terms & conditions.
